If you enjoy the countryside, along excellent land and water routes, a nice two-room apartment is available for you from the beginning of August in the middle of the beautiful Oravikoski village. The apartment is located on the top, or second, floor of a peaceful and smoke-free wooden house. Ventilation valves installed in the rooms provide extra assurance of good air quality. This retro-style two-room apartment can be a home for both singles and families alike. For example, a school, daycare, and health center are located just a few hundred meters from the house, as well as a public beach, marina, gym, bowling alley, and tennis and sports fields. The house has geothermal heating and the apartment has its own electricity and water meters. So you only pay for what you use. As a resident of the house, you also have access to the sauna and storage facilities in the basement, as well as the laundry drying room. You can find a parking spot for your car in the backyard of the house, and if you wish, you can rent a garage from the village Motor Club. The highway running near the village center smoothly takes you to the church (16 km), Kuopio, or Varkaus (40 km). The bus stops for buses running during weekdays are a few minutes' walk from the apartment. The apartment has been regularly maintained. For example, the kitchen has a relatively new dishwasher and fridge-freezer, and a vinyl plank floor was installed a few years ago.
