Older house in the countryside, at the foot of Kroppefjäll, with a large plot and open views. Here there are tiled stoves and fine wooden floors mixed with some plastic carpet and a newly renovated bathroom. Close to forests and hikes. Due to changed family circumstances, we want to rent out for a longer period, but it's unclear how long... Maybe this suits someone who needs a temporary solution rather than a permanent one... Since we won't be nearby, it includes being able to manage and take responsibility for the everyday chores that come with living in a house and having a garden. This includes tasks such as - Snow shoveling - Lawn mowing and trimming - Weeding gravel paths - Changing fuses - Vacuuming the air heat pump filters - Emptying the ashes in the wood stove if used - Regularly cleaning the drains So you need to be a bit handy and ideally have lived in a house before so that you have an eye for when things need to be fixed. It is more important that it feels right between us and the tenant(s) than for us to quickly rent out the house. It is our home that we are renting out, so it is not specially adapted for guests. Here are the pros and cons so that you know what you are getting:) The house is completely open, so you feel it when the wind blows, but there are many opportunities for sun and not so many mosquitoes, gnats, and horseflies... Outdoor spaces facing north and south Fields on three sides and a neighbor on the fourth, though with a meadow in between, so no direct insight. There are two outbuildings on the plot, where we will share the space. There is no grill, but there is a nice grill area (to be used wisely when there is no fire ban). Indoors, it is possible to light a fire in the kitchen stove, but not in the tiled stoves. The house has a large kitchen and three smaller rooms downstairs, as well as a large living room and two storage rooms upstairs. There is also a bedroom upstairs, but it is not included in the rental as it is used by us as storage. The staircase to the upper floor is quite steep, and the house is not otherwise adapted for young children. When you walk on the staircase and the floor upstairs, it creaks, which might be disturbing at night. There are no wardrobes but instead clothes hangers and drawers. The rent includes internet (fiber) and TV (Telia's basic program), garbage collection, water, private sewer emptying, but not electricity.
