Leksberg Lindåsen, Mariestad

Villa Valborg is an oasis for soul and heart. A genuine, cozy, peaceful accommodation with the forest just around the corner and within biking distance to beautiful beaches and the charming little harbor town of Mariestad. Our large, lush, secluded plot is perfect for outdoor games, barbecue evenings, or to simply relax in the hammock with a good book. The house is nearly 100 years old and has been carefully renovated with traditional, sustainable materials and furniture in a calm color scheme. There is a wonderfully warming wood stove in the kitchen and a fireplace in the living room. Birch wood is included in the rent. Also included are all kitchen utensils, books, games, and toys for small children. The additional cost is electricity. We have our own newly-drilled well with plenty of water of very good quality. Heating is provided, besides our two fireplaces, with a nearly new air-water pump connected to water radiators throughout the house. In both the bedrooms and the kitchen, there are new, soundproof windows. We are always available via email to answer questions, and our neighbor Patrik is both a carpenter, janitor and acts as a housekeeper if needed. Due to the fact that we are going to live abroad for a while, we want to give someone else the opportunity to enjoy our cozy, lovely home. There might be a possibility to extend the rental period. We can be flexible with move-in and move-out dates. Warmly welcome to our little paradise on earth!
