Welcome to our house! We are a family of four and are renting out our furnished house for six months while we visit the children's grandparents. The House Upstairs, there are three bedrooms and a bathroom with a bathtub. The ground floor is the social part of the house, with a kitchen and living room for cooking, TV evenings, and dinners with friends. In the basement, there is a spacious laundry room with two washing machines and a freezer, a guest room with a bed, and three storage rooms. In the storage rooms, we keep our own belongings and can put away furniture that you do not wish to use. On the property, there is also a newly renovated guest cottage for two adults and one child, which is perfect when relatives and friends visit. We use the garage for our own belongings and vehicles, so it is not included for parking. However, there is some extra space there that you are welcome to use. The Garden The property is 1,400 sqm and perfect for children to run around. There are swings, hammocks, a playhouse, a small trampoline, a vegetable patch, and an 'orangery.' There are plenty of red and black currants, gooseberries, and raspberries growing. By the end of September, the apple trees provide at least ten large jars of apple sauce, which is enough for breakfast all winter. The garden is sunny with a beautiful view of Storsjön, and there is a grill and outdoor furniture for pleasant dinners outside. We would appreciate it if you could take care of the garden in the usual way, such as mowing the lawn, raking leaves, and shoveling snow. Swimming and Location We often swim in Storsjön! It is a 10–15 minute walk or 5-minute bike ride to the public dock. It takes about 20 minutes by bus, which runs frequently, to get into town. You can also cycle along the bike path or along the water. The preschool and school are within walking distance, and the nearest grocery store is about 3 km away. The area is very quiet and peaceful both morning and evening. Our Cats We have two kind Bengal cats that are five years old. They are outdoor cats and require very little, especially in the summer when they mostly stay outside basking in the sun. Please let us know if you are open to having them remain with you, it would make both them and us happy. Otherwise, we will find them a temporary home. Who We Are Looking For We are looking for those who appreciate living close to nature, want to cultivate, and let children play freely in their own yard, but still want to quickly get into town.
