Wonderful house with lots of charm. Bright and nice and sunny in every room, big kitchen where you can sit at the large oak table and eat and socialize. Working tiled stove, beautiful view of Göta Canal 100 meters away. Two lakes within a few minutes' walking distance, Viken with its crystal-clear water on one side and Bottensjön on the other, beautiful industrial environment, nice neighbors, large fine garden, and the best robotic lawnmower. 15-20 minutes to one of Sweden's most beautiful national parks, Tiveden, and just a few minutes' walk to wonderful forests around Forsvik. The house is furnished with a mix of family heirlooms and modern. We have geothermal heating that works extremely well and is also one of our time's most economical options. Parking on the property. On the ground floor, there is an entrance hall, kitchen, living room, and a separate dining room with a piano, as well as a guest toilet. Upstairs, there is a master bedroom with a big bed and plenty of space, as well as two bedrooms, the upper hall, and a bathroom with a shower and bathtub. Furniture is included in the rent as well as the parking of course. Water, electricity, and internet are extra. There is a bus from Forsvik to Karlsborg several times a day and vice versa. Forsvik has a very nice independent school up to 6th grade. Then there is middle school at the very nice newly renovated Karl Johan school in Karlsborg 10 minutes from Forsvik by car. It is a very calm and safe area with virtually zero crime. We also have a very nice and well-stocked 24/7 store 2-3 minutes' walk down to the Göta Canal quay. The reason I want to rent out the house is that I will be abroad until the beginning of June 2026, and it would be a shame for such a wonderful house to stand empty for so long.
