Sävsjö can be reached in about 20 minutes by car and Växjö and Värnamo in about 40 minutes. Vrigstad and Lammhult can be reached in around 10 minutes by car. Rörvik has several businesses and industries. Rörvik also has a newly built school from preschool class up to grade 9 in junior high school. The town also has a small grocery store and a restaurant/café. A swimming area with a jetty is within walking and cycling distance. The town also has a football club together with Stockaryd, where many children and youth play. The football field in Rörvik is located in the community.
