Aarnitupa is a well-equipped, atmospheric log villa in Taivalkoski, located by the clear and fish-filled Lake Kylmäluoma. Accommodation includes sleeping places for 6+2 people over two floors, fireplace/sauna wood, and a boat. Free 4G Wi-Fi enables remote work, among other things. The child-friendly, peaceful, sandy-bottomed beaches, nearby fish-filled wilderness ponds of the Kylmäluoma hiking area, hiking trails with campfire places, as well as the authentic locations from Kalle Päätalo's books guarantee a successful holiday for families, fishermen, hunters, and other travelers. You can fish on the lake without a separate permit (own water area). On the state side waters, there's a kota, a couple of lean-tos, and more fantastic beach/swimming spots. Animals are also welcome, and a separate dog kennel is available. Well-behaved "creatures" can of course stay in the cabin area as well :D The area also offers sledding and hiking routes all the way to Hossa or Kuusamo and beyond. Note! The cottage is intended mainly for short-term rentals.
