Sparlösa Stena, Vara

"Stena" is a newly renovated villa from 1840, tastefully furnished and equipped with brand new kitchens and bathrooms. Available for rent furnished for periods up to 6 months. The house is located in Sparlösa kyrkby, beautifully situated between forest and plain, 15 minutes from Vara and Grästorp. The village is known for the Sparlösa runestone, considered Sweden's most unique runestone. An exhibition building next to the church, just 100 meters away, often attracts visitors. The ground floor has a new glass veranda used as a dining room, a large living room (formerly a prayer hall for a Bethania church), and a spacious kitchen in a new extension with high ceilings. Heating comes from a new air heat pump that covers the large open area on the ground floor. There is also a new wood-burning stove that heats up quickly. The bedrooms have oil-filled electric radiators, and the bathroom and laundry room have underfloor heating. There are a total of three bedrooms in the main building, two bathrooms, a guest toilet, and a laundry room. Outside, there is a large wooden deck and a covered veranda at the entrance. The garden has old fruit trees and a kitchen garden with herbs, salads, and tomatoes. There is a SmartTV with many streaming channels and fast wifi via mobile internet throughout the house. The rent includes garbage collection, home insurance, and internet. Electricity is paid by the tenant through the owners' contract. Water comes from a private well. (Personal insurance is needed for personal belongings, damages, etc.) Sparlösa is primarily accessed by car, but local traffic can be booked every day of the week via Västtrafik. (The fee is like a regular bus, a taxi picks up within different time intervals.) The house is rented out as the owners work in another location. Small dog/cat may be accepted.
