The house is bright, with a lovely layout and is situated on a high and secluded plot with sun all day. There are large wooden decks both front and back, and other seating areas around the house. Only 200 meters to water. Layout The house has a living room with fireplace, sofa bed, and large windows facing west, a nice dining area on a tier above the living room, a bedroom with a 180-bed, a small room with a 120-bed and window, bathroom, and fully equipped kitchen with stove, dishwasher, airfryer, and microwave. The house is fully furnished and a total of about 65 sqm large. The plot is a natural yard with some flat grass areas. There is also an uninsulated but renovated guest cottage on the plot where the tenant can store boxes or the like. The bathroom is newly renovated (2025) and very fresh but does not have a water toilet, instead requiring manual emptying for further composting (Separett). However, it is odorless. Shower and washing machine available. The water is from a private well that is iron-rich which means that sensitive white clothes should be washed elsewhere. Communications The house is located in Vidja, a former holiday home area where most now live permanently. It is 1.5 miles from Stockholm's city center. By car, it takes 20-25 minutes to get to Södermalm. The bus runs about once an hour daily and takes 20 minutes to Farsta strand, from there it takes an additional 20 minutes to get to Stockholm's city center. There is a countryside feel in the area and one should like it as a tenant, for example, there is no street lighting. About the property: The house was built as a holiday home in the '60s, it is insulated but not up to today’s standard, however, it can be excellently heated with the included (large, efficient) air heat pump, electric elements, and fireplace with insert. The rent is excluding electricity costs, which are between 1000-3000 SEK per month autumn/winter depending on the outdoor temperature and how warm you want it. No internet or telephone jack is available, so you have to use a mobile solution, mobile coverage is good. The cost for garbage collection and water is included in the rent. The tenant takes care of the garden and house, and rakes leaves and shovels the terrace. Maximum two tenants. Rented fully furnished. There is also an uninsulated guest cabin.
