It is 3 km to the village of Koskenpää; primary school (with taxi transportation), daycare, shop, petrol station, bar, etc. The large plot has plenty of space for residents to do yard work and maintain a garden. In the yard area, there is a larger garage for car/handicraft enthusiasts, which can be heated with wood. Additionally, the plot has a storage/shelter area, a root cellar, a barbecue gazebo by the shore, and a sauna from which you can take a quick dip in Lake Pettämä.
