Now we are renting out our well-preserved old village school in Gårdlösa – right in the middle of Österlen! Surrounded by the scenic countryside of Skåne and beautiful whitewashed farms, this charming house stands as what used to be the village school. You will reside in a carefully preserved stone house from 1848 with wide window niches, mullioned windows, and beautiful wooden floors that testify to the house's history and unique character. The house, at 118 sqm, offers plenty of space for both families and other groups, and its location in the heart of Österlen is unbeatable, with all the local gems close at hand. Furthermore, the hub of Smedstorp is within walking distance from the house, with a country store, outdoor pool, art galleries, and Österlen's photography center housed in the beautiful old grain warehouse. A stone's throw from the house is also the famous Gårdlösaleden, offering magnificent nature experiences and beautiful hiking trails. The house has three bedrooms, a kitchen with a dining area for 4–5 people, a spacious living room with both a dining area for 5–6 people and a lounge area with a sofa set, desk, and TV with casting capabilities. Additionally, there is a bathroom with a shower and a smaller laundry room. Sleeping arrangements • Master bedroom of about 20 sqm with a double bed (210 cm). • Another bedroom that can accommodate, for example, a 90 cm bed and a junior bed. • Smaller guest room with a single bed (90 cm). • Living room with a sofa bed that can be unfolded into a smaller double bed for overnight guests. Furnishing in the bedrooms can be changed according to the tenant's needs. The house includes a private plot of about 2,000 sqm with fruit trees, berry bushes, a grill, several outdoor seating areas (and if desired, a swing and trampoline for the youngest guests). The garden offers both tranquility and privacy with minimal exposure from the surroundings. Here, anyone interested in gardening can unleash their creativity.
