Toppvägen, Saltsjö-boo

Turn-of-the-century villa from 1897 with a magical glass veranda and panoramic views of the Stockholm inlet, in Saltsjö-Boo. Rented furnished. 6 rooms and kitchen on two floors. On the ground floor there is a hall, TV room, glass veranda, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. The upper floor has three bedrooms and a small bathroom. Electricity and water are not included, fees for these items are added and the monthly fee for these varies depending on consumption/weather etc. There is no garage or storage, but there is parking on the property. Water & Waste usually land at 1000-1500 depending on water consumption and waste sorting. Electricity was separated for this property at the turn of the year and a new air/water heating system was installed in Winter 22/23. The average for electricity over the last year was 3311:-/month. (The price of electricity varies greatly and also weather/temperature. This is our average cost Sept 25 - Aug 26.) The house is older, a bit bohemian. Incredibly charming, but not luxurious. The tenant needs to be able to change a fuse, be handy, and self-reliant. The house has a garden that requires some care in the form of lawn mowing and watering during drier periods. Large parties are not allowed but dinners are, of course. Parking on the property is available (no garage). You can reach the house via bus about a 35-minute ride from Slussen, and a 7-minute walk to the bus stop. You can also commute into Stockholm, Slussen/Strömkajen with the Waxholm ferry from Hasseluddensbrygga (about 20 minutes walk from the house). In Orminge Centrum there are grocery stores, a liquor store, a library, restaurants, and a health center, about a 5-minute drive. We will be living on the West Coast for a while.
