We are now pleased to rent out our beautiful and well-planned apartment on Kantorsgatan in Uppsala. The apartment was newly built in 2022 and has since been well maintained by the same tenant. Since our current tenant still lives in the apartment, we have limited pictures at the moment, but we will post more continuously. We will of course arrange viewings for serious interested parties. In the property papers, the apartment is registered as a 2-room, but since it has two separate rooms with doors (one large bedroom and one office/smaller bedroom), it functions in practice as a 3-room. The rental is primarily for one year going forward with a good chance of extension, as we rent indefinitely without a fixed end date (3 months' mutual notice period applied after the first year). The apartment is rented unfurnished, but can also be rented partly furnished if desired. Floor plan: The apartment has a modern, bright, and very space-efficient floor plan that fits perfectly for two friends who want to live together but still have privacy, or for a couple/small family who want a separate home office or children's room. Social areas: A lovely, open floor plan between the spacious kitchen and living room which invites socializing. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, full fridge/freezer, oven, induction stove, and microwave. Bedroom 1: The larger bedroom is quietly located at one end of the apartment and is equipped with ample closet storage. Office/Bedroom 2: A lockable room which works excellently as an extra bedroom or office. Bathroom: Fully tiled, modern bathroom equipped with WC, shower, and its own combined washer/dryer. Hall: Welcoming entrance with hanging options, closet, and cleaning cupboard. Communications: Ekonomikum: 8–10 minutes by bike or bus. Central station: 10 minutes by bus or bike. Bus stop: Right outside with frequent departures. What is included (and additional) in the rent Included: Heating and water Property maintenance and access to common areas. Additional costs: The cost of household electricity (Sign your own agreement) and broadband are additional to the rent (Sign your own agreement). Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is orderly, non-smoking, and pet-free (pets are not allowed in the apartment). We prefer that you have a stable economy, and as a requirement for the contract, the following applies Credit report: An approved report (a so-called "my UC" which you can easily download digitally via the Min UC service). Financial basis: The three most recent pay slips (or CSN decision/guarantee if you are students) as well as the current employment contract Deposit: A deposit equivalent to one month's rent is paid at the same time as the contract signing and is refunded upon moving out after an approved inspection. Home insurance: It is an absolute requirement that the tenant signs and shows a valid home insurance policy for the entire rental period.
