The Savelanniemi cottage offers a peaceful environment, its own lakeside sauna, and the opportunity to enjoy nature without hurry. Kalkkinen village is about 8 km away, with the legendary Manibaari (great pizzas), a K-market convenience store, and the Pihamaa winery. The winery hosts various events, and the best way to keep up with them is to follow their Instagram:) The cottage is located on the shore of a small lake about 2.5 hectares in size. The lake flows into Ruotsalainen and offers good conditions for swimming, rowing, fishing, and relaxation. Accommodation * Traditional log cabin built in the 1980s with a small kitchen, living room, and sleeping alcove. The alcove has a new bed and sturdy new mattresses * Also a separate sleeping cabin * A total of 6 sleeping places * Most comfortable for 4 people * Hillside plot, not suitable for people with mobility issues Equipment * Electricity * Air heat pump, cooling/heating * Wood stove * Lakeside sauna, wood-burning stove * Rowboat * Gas grill * Charcoal grill * Campfire site by the lake * Neat composting outdoor toilet * Separate shower room next to the toilet, with electric water heating Water supply * Summer water is pumped from the lake to the sauna, separate shower room, and for dishwashing at the cottage * Drinking water must be brought with you (the nearest drinking water point is K-Market Lampinen, Kalkkinen). In Pietilä, you can experience the authentic Finnish cottage atmosphere: the warmth of the sauna, the refreshing lake water, and summer evenings by the campfire on the beach.
