Super cozy and charming short-term accommodation in a very central location in Västervik! Our winter-insulated cottage with two guest cabins is available for rent from December to May/June 2027 (dates are somewhat flexible and can be discussed). Please read the rental terms below! HOUSE DESCRIPTION This is a unique, homely accommodation with turn-of-the-century charm and access to a large, lush garden. The house is located in a quiet yet very central residential area, just 2-7 minutes’ walk to the hospital, the travel center, and downtown (close to Hemköp, Willys, restaurants, shops, cinema, and library). Perfect for those who appreciate houses with old-fashioned charm, a central yet quiet location, and free street parking! The main building from the 1800s is 40 sqm + 25 sqm attic/loft (storage area) and consists of 3 rooms and kitchen: - a living room with TV & tiled stove (not usable) - a small but well-equipped kitchen - two stylish, fully tiled bathrooms with showers - a loft with a reading corner and sleep alcove with a 140 cm wide mattress for up to 2 people (Note! Low ceiling and accessible via a steep staircase!) In the garden, there are 2 cozy guest cabins, each with a bedroom and a view of the garden: 1. The Sleep House (140 cm double bed) - room with the most old-fashioned charm. 2. The Courtyard House (140 cm double bed) - bright and pleasant with an archipelago feel, best view of the garden. NOTE! The guest cabins consist only of bedrooms (each cabin approx. 9-10 sqm). If you do not want to sleep on a mattress in the loft, which has a low ceiling, and want to sleep in a real bed in a guest cabin, you must take a few steps outside to the main building to use the kitchen and bathrooms! RENTAL TERMS We are looking for well-behaved, quiet persons with orderly conditions and good references, preferably those who work, commute weekly, study, or are pensioners who need temporary accommodation. No pets. No smoking indoors! We check with the Enforcement Agency and do not rent to persons with debts. A deposit is required. The house is furnished and not suitable for long-term rental. It is not possible to rent a whole year or annually. Storage space is limited! The tenant is responsible for basic garden care and snow removal. RENT 8350 SEK/month for 1-2 people living only in the main building. Additional costs apply if you also want to rent a guest cabin in the garden. The rent includes electricity, heating, water, garbage collection, broadband (fiber connected), and TV with basic channels. Heating via electricity and heat pump. Free street parking is available.
