Boge Annex, Slite

In Boge on the eastern side of Gotland, just outside Slite, lies our old limestone school from 1860 in a rural setting with the beautiful Boge church as our closest neighbor. Together with our two children, the school was ours for almost four years as we carefully renovated and converted the building into a residence for the first time in its 160-year-long history. The former classroom of 65 square meters today houses an open, airy, and newly renovated kitchen and living room with large social areas. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the large dining table can accommodate up to 12 people. The house contains two bedrooms – one on each floor – as well as two bathrooms and a smaller toilet. Currently, we have six beds, but we can easily adjust the number of beds to suit our next tenant. The garden has a dining area under the old oak tree, and there is also an outdoor kitchen with a grill and plenty of space for socializing and play. The house is located five kilometers from Slite, where there are plenty of services such as a school, preschool, grocery stores, liquor store, pharmacy, and health center. We are happy to tell more about life in Boge and look forward to sharing our home with new tenants. The rent includes all operating costs except for electricity. We have a variable electricity contract where the cost is determined by the tenant's consumption.
