A room available in a very cozy collective at Tåsen, between Sept. 10 and Oct. 22. 6 weeks short-term rental. The current residents are Jorn, Hanna and Benedicte. Jorn is 35 years old and works as a research assistant at UiO and as a swimming instructor. He enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and will be traveling to Nepal. His room will be available during this period. Benedicte is 33, comes from Hamar, has completed her master's in politics, law, and jurisprudence, and currently works at the Red Cross Norway. Besides, she leads an active life with political gatherings, conferences, exercise, and friends. Hanna is 32 and works in care for adults with special needs. She is also active in singing, dancing, and theater. We all live busy lives and get a lot of social interaction at work/school and in our free time. Therefore, we find it nice to be able to relax when we are home. However, we are interested in living with someone we get along well with and can have a chat with when it suits. We are looking for girls or guys aged around 22-35 who want the same in a home. It doesn't matter how tidy you are in your own room, as long as you keep the common areas tidy and clean during your cleaning week. We share the kitchen, living room, and bathroom, and the room for rent is on the 3rd floor with a view over Tåsen towards Holmenkollen. The room is available earliest from Sept. 10 until Oct. 22. The apartment is on the 2nd and 3rd floor of a house on Hauges vei and there is plenty of space. There is also a south-facing veranda with a gas grill and a well-equipped kitchen. The house is in an idyllic and quiet residential area between Tåsen center, Bjølsen, and Nydalen. It takes 5 minutes to walk to Nydalen, and 15 minutes to the Storo center. There are good public transport options with bus 54 (2 minutes away) and bus 37 (5 minutes away). Tåsen and Nydalen metro stations are about 6 minutes away.
