Practical laundry room with good storage space right inside the front door and a spacious tiled bathroom with modern furnishings. The house has a large open living room and kitchen design with high ceilings and large windows facing its own garden without visibility from the road or neighbors. With direct access to a large terrace, the solution provides plenty of light and increased sense of space. The kitchen is a natural gathering point with seating for 12, and the terrace is suitable for long summer evenings with a grill, outdoor fireplace, heat lamps, and partially covered area. The house has a parking space and a charger for an electric car. A robot mower is installed to take care of the lawn, while watering, tending the flowerbeds, and some snow shoveling are expected. Location: The house is located in a quiet residential area with virtually no traffic. There are nice green areas at Grønlia towards Holmen Center for jogging and about 1 km to walk to the beach at Hvalstrand. Holmen Center (1.5 km away) has most of the shops and services. The rest can be found in Asker center (3.5 km) or in the area past IKEA Slependen and further towards Sandvika. The nearest primary school is Hofstad school (700m away) and Torstad secondary school (2 km). For the youngest, Hval gård kindergarten offers an excellent service and has a good reputation. The nearest train station is Vakås (1.2 km) for local trains 4 times an hour towards Asker or Oslo. There is an excellent bus connection with route 250 from Hval (800m to walk). During rush hour, there is an express route 250E via Lysaker and Skøyen which takes less than 25 minutes to Oslo. About us: We live in the neighboring house which shares the courtyard and access from the road, but is otherwise completely independent. In return, we are readily available to take care of small and large practical matters should the need arise. We are a family with 3 adult children. In the nearest neighboring houses, there is a good mix of families with young children, adults with grown children, and retirees.
