Lease on Archipelago Island We are now looking for a new year-round tenant for our farm on Stora Ålö in Gryt's archipelago. The person we are looking for wishes to live and reside here, on the island, year-round and manage small-scale animal husbandry with horses, sheep, goats, or cattle. The lease includes a house, a simple barn, and about 15 hectares of pasture and meadowland. There is an opportunity to make hay or silage for feed. The pastures are beautifully located on the island, near and often bordering the water. The residential house is about 200 sqm spread over two floors, has four spacious bedrooms, two toilets/showers, bath, laundry room, and rough entryway. Large kitchen and glass veranda with a door to the patio, porch, and balcony. The property also includes a boat dock. You need to reach the island with your own boat, but in winter, residents have the opportunity to order boat transport via Östgötatrafiken. Island life is incredibly rewarding. It is fantastically beautiful here, all year round. But it can also be exhausting and lonely. It's a long way (about 20 km drive once on the mainland) to grocery stores, school, and preschool, so we are looking for a tenant who has carefully considered the pros and cons and primarily someone without school-age children.
