The beautiful 120 m2 main building of the farm, with a mansard roof and two stories, was originally built in the 1920s and also has a basement, for example, for storing roots and jams. In the 1980s-90s, a sauna, washroom, and WC facilities as well as two bedrooms upstairs were added to the building. Naturally, there is also a washing machine connection in the washroom. The main house's electric sauna has not been used since the completion of the yard sauna. A car trip to the center of Vehmersalmi takes about 10 minutes and to Kuopio and Leppävirta about 40 minutes. The nearest shops and services as well as elementary and middle schools can be found in Vehmersalmi. School transportation to Vehmersalmi has been arranged.
