Hästhagen, Sandviken

Due to moving abroad, we are now considering renting out our newly renovated cottage in the Hästhagen area in fantastic Högbo. The cottage is situated high up, just over 100m from, and with partial views of, Öjaren. By the lake, there is our own pier with sun most of the day. The cottage: Completed renovation inside and out in 2025, area 60m2. Throughout pine flooring and tiles. Living room & kitchen with open plan, two bedrooms and a total of 4 sleeping places. Sauna building: Electrically heated sauna with space for 3-4 people in a larger building with an anteroom. Parking: Multiple possibilities to park either on the property or on the other side of the gravel road Outside: Two terraces adjacent to the cottage, one facing south and one with afternoon/evening sun adjacent to the entrance. At the lower part of the property, there is a flat lawn. General: Heating: Fujitsu heat pump (2024), Wood-burning stove Contura Water/sewage: municipal Internet: Fiber via Sandnet connected TV: possibility to choose content via Sandnet, not connected currently. Chromecast available. Kitchen: oven, microwave, dishwasher, hob with plasma fan, and fridge/freezer. Appliances from Bertazzoni and Miele. Bathroom: underfloor heating, tiles, toilet, shower, sink, and washing machine. There is also a 110-liter water heater. Hallway: tiles with underfloor heating, hat rack with shoe storage Living room: double doors to the front, 3-seater sofa, armchair, coffee table, storage cabinet, and wall-mounted 42-inch TV swivelable towards the kitchen, stove Smaller bedroom: windows facing the back, bunk bed, two full-size wardrobes, one of which used as a cleaning cabinet Larger bedroom: double bed, two wardrobes, ventilation window facing the back, double doors towards the lake side. Economy: Price is discussed based on the period and whether the sauna should be included or not. The price includes property tax, waste collection, community/snow removal. The tenant pays variable costs themselves based on preference and consumption: internet, TV, network fee for electricity & water, and electricity consumption. Living in a cottage in the countryside means you need to: - shovel snow/cut grass - take care of the cottage continuously - be aware that it may get dark The cottage is fully renovated but there is still some work on the property that we haven't completed yet.
