Home away from home.. you get all the comforts of our home while we are away. Our modern, family home is located in the beautiful & tranquil West Coast of Sweden. Just being at the house is a holiday in itself with its setting amongst the typical granite boulders and vegetation that is synonymous for the region. Beautiful ocean, sunset and forest views as you lookout from the lounge, bedroom or large sunning deck. The space The house is nestled in a small car free community, so it is safe, calm and care free for children to run around outside and make use of the communal playgrounds. We have a dedicated parking bay for those that arrive by car with easy access to the house, and otherwise open street parking is generally available. From the comforts of the lounge we have had the joy of some animal sightings – deer, woodpeckers, pheasant and baby foxes. There is a large deck for suntanning and enjoying meals while watching the sunset over the ocean and a small garden lies in front of the house. There is a common play area right behind the house for playing some soccer. A large kids communal playground and sand pit play area is located 20m up the path from the house. The house is light and modern, equipped with all the necessary facilities to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. The layout of the house is fantastic with an open plan communal living area. We get morning sun on the north side, and afternoon sun on the back deck and main garden for the long summer evenings. We have 4 bedrooms, 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs, ideal when some guests are in need of an undisturbed rest and others want to socialize in the communal area. We have two young children, so all their toys, books and play areas are available for use. BEDROOM 1 (Upstairs) The bedroom is spacious, with views onto the forest, ocean and islands. It comes with one king size bed for two persons. We have blackout blinds for those who prefer. Fresh bedsheets and towels are always included for our guests. BEDROOM 2 (Upstairs) The bedroom is big and spacious, it comes with two 120cm size beds for two persons. There is also a cot for a young child. The bedroom is located southwards and has lovely all day sun. BEDROOM 3(Downstairs) This bedroom comes with a single bed (which can be expanded into a comfortable double bed). We use this as our office, so computer screens and desk is available if needed. BEDROOM 4 (Downstairs) This bedroom has a single bed and overlooks the garden. We use this as the kids playroom, so has lots of childrens toys and books available. OPEN PLAN - KITCHEN / DINING ROOM / LIVING ROOM Very modern kitchen equipped with all the necessities for preparing a home cooked meal. For the coffee addicts, we have a Nespresso machine, Bialetti and a percolator, as you prefer. You also have use of our food basics such as tea / coffee, herbs / spices, oil etc. We have a 50-inch flat screen TV with Netflix installed. There is also a stereo to Bluetooth your favourite tunes
