Charming red log house from 1870 with a delightful little yard. Even though neighbors are nearby, it's wonderfully peaceful and secluded here. Several horse enthusiasts live nearby – the sound of hooves on the village road is a familiar one here. This is at its best as a summer cottage, but if desired, one can have a permanent address here. Photos were taken on a rainy day at the beginning of summer 2026 - now the yard is in full bloom. The house has a spacious living room with a small fridge-freezer and an induction hob. Both heating and cooking are handled by the wood stove and the baking oven. The living room has a heat-retaining fireplace, a cauldron in the washroom, and a stove in the sauna. The small separate bedroom fits a double bed. The house is entirely heated by wood, with electricity as a supplementary option. The property has a few wall-mounted fan heaters and one portable radiator. The floors are so drafty that maintaining a comfortable indoor temperature during the cold season is impossible, but someone who is satisfied with modest conditions can somehow manage even in winter. In recent years, the baking oven has been repaired, and 35 cm of wool insulation has been blown into the attic, and it has simultaneously been found dry and healthy structurally. However, it's been quite a while since the last major renovation, so the house already needs refurbishment - including replacing a few logs, additional floor insulation, renewing the eaves boards, and maintenance painting of the exterior ...or you can just enjoy the current conditions and let everything be just as it is! ;) In the yard, there's a water post from the Eurajoki water utility, from which you can carry water. Additionally, there's a well with the possibility of using a pressure water pump (ready on site) to get water through pipes into the washroom and kitchen, if the tenant has the skills to handle the commissioning themselves. The well has not been serviced nor the well water tested. On the plot, there is a small garage with room for tinkering and a Biolan composting toilet. Old apple trees, berry bushes, and a cherry tree grow in the yard. Birds thrive and nest here! Wonderful berry and mushroom grounds are found nearby.
