Spacious villa with sauna, spa, and home office in Old Uppsala Welcome to our home in Old Uppsala – a spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped villa in a quiet and nature-close residential area, with both Uppsala's city life and historical attractions within easy reach. The house is located right next to the royal mounds and large green areas with nice walking and jogging trails. Here you live with nature and history around the corner, while central Uppsala is just about 2 km away and Stockholm is easily accessible by train. The house is ideal for a family, guest researchers, international employees, or others looking for a comfortable and fully equipped accommodation during a longer stay in the Uppsala region. Generous social areas with space for both everyday life and socializing The heart of the house is the large, open social area where the kitchen, dining area, and living room form a cohesive and inviting environment. The well-equipped kitchen has a large kitchen island that becomes a natural gathering place for cooking and socializing. Next to it is the dining area and the spacious living room with a large, comfortable sofa group. This is our own family home, not a traditional rental property. The house is therefore carefully furnished and equipped with most things needed for a comfortable everyday life. The house offers flexible spaces for both family life, guests, and home work. Ground floor: entrance hall, open plan living with kitchen, dining area and living room, bathroom, laundry room, master bedroom, and 1 office. Upstairs: 3 bedrooms, one of which is a combined guest room and home office, media room with projector for movies and music, and a small spa room with bathtub and sauna. Outdoor environment: Large pool area with a 4 x 7.5-meter pool and a private lawn. The plot has a large wooden deck, private swimming pool, sun loungers, grill, and a spacious patio with a roof over the dining area. Large driveway with parking space. Detached building: with a separate office where you can work undisturbed, separated from the rest of the house. Furnished with a sofa and TV and can serve as an extra social room. Car rental option Car rental option: There is the possibility to also rent a Volkswagen Tiguan (2017) for a small additional cost. A real home for a longer stay We rent out our own home for three months and are looking for responsible tenants who appreciate the house and take good care of it.
