Extraordinary accommodation in the heart of central Uppsala, just a stone's throw from the central station with full access to public transport and Arlanda/Stockholm A beautiful room of 35 sqm with 3.6 meters high ceiling, a magnificent tiled stove from the 19th century and vaulted windows. The room is furnished and includes a private toilet/shower, a walk-in closet, and a simple "summer kitchen/provisional kitchenette" with fridge/freezer compartment, microwave, two hotplates, and a kettle. The room is located near the apartment's main entrance. No access to the host's kitchen. Available for rent to a guest student, visiting researcher, or as a commuter residence for 6–12 months. An extension can be discussed. Available from February 1, 2027 (possibly a few days earlier depending on when the current tenant moves out). The rent includes heating, water, electricity, and internet. We are looking for a professional, orderly, respectful, and reliable person with references who needs temporary accommodation. Smoking and parties are not allowed! We, the residents, are a married couple who both work as artists with our own practices. We are easygoing and used to having guests. We have had four guest students/researchers and 2 commuters who have previously lived here (for 3 - 10 months), which has worked very well. Since the room is close to the entrance, we rarely encounter each other. As my husband's two adult children have moved out, we have a little extra space to spare.
